Information on the Providers:
1) Eric J. Yoon, MSN, APRN-CS- is a nurse practitioner with ten years of experience. He specializes in Acute Care/Emergency Medicine and also works in Primary Care. He currently is a member of the Ohio Board of Nursing and is Chairman of the Prescriptive Governance Committee. He is Nationally Certified as an Adult, Family and Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.
2) Jornel Rivera, DO- is the Medical Director of Madison County Hospital Emergency Room, as well as the Free Clinic. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine.
3) Kate Gawlik, MSN, APRN-CS- Kate graduated with her Masters of Science in Nursing from Ohio State University. She is certified by the American Nursing Credentialing Center as an Adult Nurse Practitioner and can treat patients 13 and over. Kate also teaches part-time in the adult nurse practitioner program at Ohio State University. Her clinical interests include women's health, adolescent health, and preventative medicine.
We offer a two tiered charge for our self-pay patients:
1) $50 for cough, cold, sinus, bronchitis, urinary tract infections, strep throat (without a rapid strep), minor injuries requiring ace wrap or splint, minor headaches, complaints of acute back or neck pain, eye injury (corneal abrasions or foreign bodies).
2) $75 to $150 for dehydration, pneumonia or bronchitis that requires a breathing treatment or IM medications, lacerations, pelvic exams, or any other illnesses requiring interventions such as sutures, IV fluids, or casting. Immunizations and antibiotics are an additional charge.
